Protesters call on Maxim's to end to shark fin soup sales

HONG KONG SAR: CHINA - February 10,2018.  Wildlife activists, WildAid, stage a protest at Maxims restaurant in Hong Kong University over their continued sale of shark fin soup. The Maxim group of restaurants across Hong Kong will continue to serve the soup in large quantities with it featuring on their Chinese New Year banquets. Protesters present the manager of the outlet a letter signed by over 250 scientists, local and international marine conservationists, animal welfare groups and concerned citizens including Sir Richard Branson, Dr Jan Goodall, Dr Boris Worm and Dr Daniel Pauly.
